It is a great pleasure to announce the 2nd annual Tilley Harley-Davidson Biker Blues & BBQ Rally and BBQ Classic, September 20-22, 2012. This event is a Biker Blues & BBQ Rally combined with a Kansas City Barbecue Society sanctioned cook-off event bringing together sponsors, vendors, first class entertainment, the general public, and motorcycle enthusiasts for an admission-free event.

Visitors will come from all over to experience this BBQ event, entertainment and all the activities that go along with it. The event will also provide an opportunity to see some of the nation’s best competition barbeque cooking teams.

As with last year’s event,  Governor Perdue has proclaimed our event as a State Championship and will ask the Salisbury City Mayor to proclaim September 20-22, 2012 as Biker Blues BBQ Rally and BBQ Classic days.

We will have a huge “Pre-event” party on Thursday, September 20 with well-known entertainment sponsored by Buckshots and Uncle Buck’s All-American Pub & Grub.  We are also going to have a huge “Final Finale” party after the awards presentations on Saturday, September 22 sponsored by Tom McGrath’s Motorcycle Law Group.   Both parties are free admission to all.

We are expecting the 2012 event to be bigger and better than before and any event ever held in Salisbury. We also anticipate this rally to become one of the largest Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) sanctioned events in the Southeastern United States.

Not only will we host this event free to the general public, our goal is to have proceeds going to local charity. 2011’s event supported three local charities with $1,000 each. This could not have been done without your support.
